James Allen Bouthillier Sr.

Our beloved family Patriarch, Mister James Allen Bouthillier Sr, 90 years of age, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 in Pleasanton, California.

Jim’s immediate family was lovingly at his side those last and final days.

Jim was born in Alameda County and resided there his whole life. He lived in Livermore for the past 20 years.

Mr. Bouthillier was a Machinist by Trade. He retired about 20 years ago.

In retirement, Jim was always a vigorous and energetic gentleman. Jim enjoyed playing Chess and Cribbage with friends. Over the many years of his active retirement, he and the one-and-only True Love of His Life, his wife Judith, were able to enjoy multiple excursions to Europe.

Other activities Jim enjoyed included kayaking, hiking along our local mountain trails, and taking long walks to the park with his dog, Angus.

James Allen Bouthillier Sr. is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judith, their four children James A. Bouthillier Jr., Jacqueline Bouthillier-Kline (Spouse of Stephen Kline), John Bouthillier (married to Melani Halili-Bouthillier) and Jennifer Bouthillier.

Jim was also blessed with many grandchildren & great grandchildren: Davis and Zoë Kline, Daniella Bouthillier, Justine Gleason-Bouthillier, llana Marquez, Laura Marquez, Luka Marquez-Chickos, Rosie Marquez-Lowe, Enzo Marquez-Grelli.

A private Celebration of Life for James is being planned for the near future.
