Jeannette Davina Silva, born, June 30, 1930 in Sunnyvale, CA, went to be with the Good Lord, August 3, 2016 in Fremont, CA. Jeannette was a life long member of St. Martin Catholic Church, a member of the Young Ladies Institute and graduate and faithful alumni of San Jose State University. She was a teacher for 37 years with the Santa Clara School District and taught primarily at Jefferson Elementary. Jeannette had a passion for reading and writing. She was devoted to her beliefs, convictions and caring for her family, students and friends. Jeannette made this world a better place! Friends are invited to attend a 11:00 AM Mass of Ressurection, with visitation starting at 10:00 AM followed by a 10:45 AM rosary, Tuesday, August 9th at Saint Martin Catholic Church, 590 Central Ave, Sunnyvale, CA. Burial will follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. Donations may be made to donors favorite charity.

  2. My family and I are saddened to hear about the loss of this wonderful and loving woman. She was so very kind and always a part of the neighborhood that we live in, and knowing that she is no longer physically here will take some time to get used to. I’m grateful for teachers like Jeannette and the devoted service that they give throughout their career. She was a very special lady, and will truly be missed. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Dear Family, we are so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear loved Mrs Silva, words seem not enough at this time, God has given us hope that one day soon tears sickness and death will be a thing of the past (Revelation 21:3,4) and we certainly look for forward to that time.
