John Hibbert Dransfield, Jr.

John, a former resident of Fremont, passed away on July 19, 2012 in Oregon at the age of 53. Loving brother of Diane Marquardt of Sparks, Nevada, and son of the late John and Eva Dransfield. He competed in the Special Olympics for 25 years, helped with the annual boutique held at the Sisters of the Holy Family, and was involved with the S.P.R.E.A.D. program as St. Joseph's Catholic Church for 5 years. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 with a 6:00 PM Vigil held at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA. A 10:00 AM Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 43148 Mission Blvd., Fremont CA. John will be laid to rest at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward, CA
