John Rodrigues Neto

John Rodrigues Neto passed after a long battle with cancer on Mach 16, 2015. He was born on November 23, 1933 to John and Marie Neto in Oakland and grew up in Hayward.Beloved husband of Norma Jean Neto for 60 years. Devoted father of Mitchell Neto. He is predeceased by his children Regina Neto, Nicholas Neto, Matthew Neto. Cherished brother of Christina Garcia and Dorothy Fernandez. Loving grandfather of Matthew Neto and Mariel Neto.John was a longtime member of St. Joseph Parish, a member of the Committee for the Restoration of Mission San Jose, a popular docent at Mission San Jose for 16 yrs., and a member of the Olive Hyde Art Guild. John enjoyed wood working and was known for his handmade artisan Olive wood pepper mills. Family and friends are invited to attend a 4:30 PM visitation on Friday, March 20, 2015 with a 7:00 PM Vigil held at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA. An 11:00 AM Mass of Resurrection will be held on Saturday, march 21, 2015 at Mission San Jose, 43300 Mission Blvd., Fremont, CA.In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 455 Market Street Shopping Center, 455 Market St, San Francisco, CA 94105
