Born in: Oakland, California
Resided in: Castro Valley , California

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Jose M Flores, age 65, beloved, Father, son, brother, family member and friend, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021, while in the hospital.

Jose was born in Oakland, CA on January 6, 1956 to Jose M Flores Sr and Pabla Ojeda Flores.  Jose was preceded in death by his two sisters, Felma and Florinda; brother: David, son: Joey, grandson: Thor, as well as several family members.

Jose was baptized in Jesus Name at the Fremont Christian Life Center in Fremont, CA.

Jose’s passion was cooking.  He started his career in a Food truck and then later in the years, became a chef in various restaurants.  Jose loved to detail cars.  His hobby was taking long rides on his Harley.

Those who knew Jose, lost a dear friend. God saw his tired face and wrapped his loving arms around Jose and lifted him up to rest.   The Lord saw the road was getting tough and the hills were hard to climb, so he closed his weary eyelids and whispered “Peace be Thine”.

It broke our hearts to lose Jose, but he did not go alone.  For part of us went with him, the day God called him home.

A private burial of Celebration of life was held in Jose’s honor.

  2. Hi Felma,
This is Anna and I would really like to connect with you since my son has expressed an interest in connecting with his aunts and uncle. Please feel free to contact me at 512/888-2265.

  3. CandleI miss my friend and neighbor I met in 2010. We rode motorcycles together, he’d ride my second bike until he was able to buy his own from another friend. We shared some good laughs with his other friends David and Diane. Had dinner with him many times. Always such a kind and trustworthy man. We went to church together and I know he had faith in Jesus and I’ll see him again in Heaven.
