Jose "Joe" Torres Maldonado

Jose T. Maldonado passed away suddenly on April 10, 2015 at the age of 64 in Fremont, CA. Born on April 21, 1950 in Texas to Benito and Ofelia Maldonado. God has another angel with him and our family has lost a member here on earth! He was a truly genuine man with the biggest heart. Loving husband of Nora Maldonado for 28 years. Their love for each other was immeasurable. Adoring father of Elizabeth and her husband Andrew. Devoted grandfather of Daniella and Scarlett. Beloved brother to Laura Calderon, Mary Maldonado. Albert Maldonado, Ray Maldonado and Mark Maldonado. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews whom he loved as though they were his own children.'Joe' was a U.S. Veteran and his service will always be appreciated! Our hearts are heavy and eyes are filled with tears as we remember what a great man he was, and we cherish the fun memories he gave to us. You will always be in our hearts.Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 4:00 – 8:00pm with a 7:00pm Vigil at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA. A 4:00 pm Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, April 17th at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 40382 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA. Interment will be on Monday, April 20th at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Gustine, CA.
