June Margaret Batteate-Dawson entered into rest Wednesday, June 8, 2016. Born January 3, 1935 in Oakland, California, she was 81 years old. June was preceded in death by her first husband of 48 years Daniel Batteate and her second husband of 5 years Bon Dawson.June retired from New United Motors in Fremont in 2003 where she rally enjoyed working and made many dear friends.
Dearest daughter of Katherine and Norman Kelly. Loving mother of Norman Batteate of San Francisco; Dennis Batteate-Jordan of New Market Engladn; Patricia Batteate of San Jose; Kathlean Batteate-Jordan of Tracy; Vince Batteate of Oakley; and the late Daniel Batteate. Grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 16 great grnndchildren. A celebration of her life will occur on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Irvington Presbyterian Church at 11:00 AM, 4181 Irvington Ave., Fremont, CA.

June will be greatly missed by all. She touched a lot of lives. I have known June since I was about 13. I enjoyed visits with June when she was still at NUMMI. Be blessed and know that we will see her again. She is with our precious Jesus!
