Katherine Ellen Fletcher

Katherine Fletcher Resident of Fremont Entered into rest on March 20, 2013 in Fremont, CA. Born March 10, 1934 in Austin. Texas, She was 79 years old and a Fremont resident for 50 years. She was a music instructor and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music at the young age of 50. She devoted her life to Music and the Tri-City breakfast program at the Fremont Presbyterian Church. Katherine was a member of the local ABWA and Beach Babies Chapters. She was also a member of the Chanderlighters for 43 years, which were a big part of her life and she enjoyed very much. Katherine was the loving wife and best friend for 48 years of her late husband Rex Fletcher. She was the extraordinary mother of Laura Biro and Mary Mello. She was preceded in death by daughter Penny Conchin. She was a devoted grandmother of seven and great grandmother of eleven. At Katherine's request her ashes will be scattered at sea where she will be reunited with her husband and daughter. The family will have a celebration of life Sunday March 24, 2013 at 2pm at her home and ask that any remembrance be made to Sara Conchin (care of Katherine's estate) sconchin78@yahoo.com for further information
