Kenji Neyama passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, in Fremont after a brief illness, he was 84.
Kenji attended Gilroy schools and worked in farming. He was also employed at Bradner Central, a local paper company where he was production manager. He is a wounded veteran of the Korean War where he received several combat medals including the Purple Heart.
Kenji is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Kay, step-daughters Aileen Hisaoka (Mas), Bonnie Franklin (Dennis), 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister Tsuzuko Neyama and a niece in Hiroshima, Japan, brothers Hiroshi and George (Jean) of San Jose.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, April 7 at Southern Alameda County Buddhist Church, 32975 Alvarado-Niles Rd., Union City, CA 94587.
