Kenneth Primer, of 4485 Porter Street, Fremont, passed away at his home on August 1, 2020.

Born in Sacramento, California in 1965 to Paul Primer and Patricia Babbitt, he grew up in Urbana, Illinois, gained a degree in Education from the Eastern Illinois University, and taught History and English in Alum Rock Elementary School District for 19 years.

 

Ken was an avid tabletop gamer, gardener, and hiker who did his best to pass on his love of
history to his students.
In 1995 he went to Japan to teach English, and brought back his bride, Terumi Primer.

He is survived by his wife, Terumi Primer, daughter, Hanako Primer, and his brother and sisters, Russell Primer, Cal Primer, and Pamela Walker.

  1. CandleKen was a great friend growing up. Although adult life separated us, as happens with so many we still care about. When I think on Ken’s passing, the World seems emptier and I am profoundly sad. God bless Terumi.

  5. CandleI’m in disbelief as I’m reading this, but I was a student of Mr. Primers 3 years ago, he was really a great teacher. I’ll cherish the days and moments spent in his classroom. Sending my love and condolences to his loved ones.
