LaVere Eva Bailey Lowman passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday February 19, 2017 at the age of 86 years. She was preceded by her beloved husband of 47 years, Ronald Lowman who passed in 2002, as well as her parents Eva and William Bailey and her siblings Gwenie, Laura and Wayne. She was an accomplished painter, but above all she cherished her time with her children, grandchildren and her close family and friends.
She is survived by her three children Mark (Lora), David (Jennifer) , Carol (Ron) and her step-son Jay (Raquel); as well as her grandchildren Trevor, Katelyn, Bailey and Christopher; her sister Elaine (Robert) Griffin, her nieces Barbara (Dale)Bowden, Shelley Hinch, Susan Foreman, and Nancy (Doug) Decker and her great nieces and nephews Joanie, Jeff, Robbie (Kelly), Jake, Andrea, Tammy and Brad. She is also survived by her life-long friend, that she met in first grade, Pearl Garcia. There are many more family and friends, too many to number, that she touched during her life. There were birthday and holiday celebrations when the family always gathered and LaVere was a part of them all throughout the years. We will always remember her smile, laughter and sense of humor as well as her great skills at her holiday paintings and her enormous Christmas ornament collection.
Services will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints chapel at 3551 Decoto Road, Fremont.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Diabetes Association.
I am so sorry for your loss. I am a friend of Susan Foreman and several decades ago Susan gifted me with an art piece Levere painted for me, with my name on it. I still have it and it still looks great. Thank you Levete ❤ Joan Fosdick
