Lawrence J. Rogers, Jr born August 25, 1923 in Mission San Jose, CA., entered peacefully into rest August 7, 2017 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of 67 years to Mary Rogers. Also survived by sister-in-laws Jeanne & Deanna, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He retired after working 42 years for caterpillar and was a softball pitcher for Mission San Jose teams for many years. He will be remembered for being soft spoken and kind hearted.
Memorial Mass will be held 11:30 AM, August 14th at Holy Spirit Church 37588 Fremont Blvd., Fremont.

Dearest Mary,
I am so sorry to hear about Larry. He was a kind and sweet man. You two were a wonderful couple. I am glad that he is no longer suffering, but so sad for your loss. Bill and I are out of the country right now, on vacation. Please know that if we were home, we would be at the funeral. We are thinking of you, and we will keep you both in our prayers.
