Linda L. Urquhart

Linda Lucille Urquhart, of Fremont, CA, passed away peacefully, January 28, 2021, at the age of 80. A resident of Fremont, since 1965, when she and her husband George Richard Urquhart purchased their home during their honeymoon. Together they spent 38 blessed years until his passing in 2003. During this time, they had 5 children, Bonnie, Karen, Brenda, Brad and Brent. As she reunites with George, Brenda and Karen, she watches over Bonnie, Brad, Brent, her many grandchildren and many more great-grandchildren from above. Being a mom was her passion and her home was her heart. It was where she raised her family, loved her husband, and where the neighbors came to see the “kool-aid mom” or “grandma”, as she was fondly known, for her baked goods and cold beverages. As her nest began to empty, she traveled the world, bringing treasures back to those near and dear to her. She was a force to be reckoned with, but her heart was pure and filled with love. She was a loving wife, a devoted mom, a thoughtful grandma and great-grandma and a friend to all.
