Loretta Jane Rodriguez (Frease) was born on February 6, 1937 in Marshall, CA. She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loving family on February 21st. She leaves behind her husband Jesse, three children Joetta, Mark, and Juanita, five grandchildren Mona, Joseph, Alyssa, Enya, and Brandon, and one great grandchild Marlina. Loretta, a long time citizen of Fremont, retired from Nummi and also worked for the Fremont unified school district. She was a long time member of Saint Leonard's church in Fremont and also performed as a lay minister for Our Lady of Guadeloupe. She was a proud Native American who will take her final rest at Miwok cemetery/Marshall cemetery where she will join her mother Benita and eldest child Jeannie.

Dear Family we are sorry to hear of the loss of your dear loved one. Words seem not enough in your time of sorrow. You were such a kind and loving person. I will never forget the kindness and love you showed me when I needed it the most, when I lost my mom at age 11. You and Jesse were such a big part of my early childhood years. I will be forever grateful to both of you for all the camping trips, dinners,sleepovers, and love that you showed me. You were in my life at the time I needed stability the most.
Rest in peace. I will never forget you and I will pray for your family during their time of grief.
You brought me out of darkness and showed me how to live , for this I will forever be in your debt I love and miss you.
