Lucia Anna Lucia entered peacefully into rest February 16, 2016 in Fremont, CA. Born September 11, 1924 in Newark, NJ to John and Anna Gentile, she was 91 years old. She grew up working at her father's grocery store in Newark, NJ and Eagle Rock, CA. She loved cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling especially to Hawaii. Lucia and her husband Dick founded and operated Lucia's Restaurant since 1975 and Lucia's Fish House. She was also a member of St. Joseph Parish and former member of Inner Wheel. Beloved wife of the late Richard Joseph Lucia. Devoted mother of Joe Lucia of Fremont, CA, Rich Lucia and wife Lisa of Livermore, CA and Bob Lucia of Ione, CA. Loving grandmother of Lisa, Christopher and Sarah and nine great grandchildren. Dearest sister of Rosalie Ledesma, Martha Gentile, the late Mary Bisetti, the late Sarah Wanamaker and the late George Gentile. Family and friends are invited to attend a 4:00 PM vigil service Sunday, March 6th held at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA. Memorial Mass will be 9:00 AM Monday, March 7th held at Mission San Jose, 43148 Mission Blvd, Fremont.
