Your prayers are requested for the soul of Lucy Julie Rodrigues who passed away unexpectedly early morning on April 22nd, 2015. She was preparing for breakfast when she had a heart attack and died. Her death was peaceful.
Lucy Rodrigues was born in 1928 in Goa, and moved to Karachi at a fairly young age. She lived most of her adult life in Karachi before again moving to California in 1990 to be with her children and grandchildren. She had reached the ripe age of 87 years at the time of her death.
Lucy's marriage to the late Eusebius Rodrigues produced two children. Her daughter, Colette, is married to Stephen ( Benny ) Castellino and they have two children ( Duncan and Erwin ); and her son, Clement, was married to the late Maria ( nee D'Souza ) with one daughter ( Annamarie ). Lucy also had two great-grandchildren ( Evan and Leah ) from Duncan and Genie Castellino.
Visitation and rosary is Sunday ( April 26th ) at 3pm at the Chapel of the Angels ( Berge, Pappas, Smith ), 40842 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA. Tel: 510-656-1226.
Funeral service is Monday ( April 27th ) at 11am at St. Joseph's Church, Mission San Jose, Fremont, CA

Colette and Clemmy and respective family members, please accept my deepest and heartfelt condolences. May God give you all the strength to bear this loss. Aunty Lucy will be missed. She was a wonderful and thoughtful person, always remembering to inquire of my family whenever I spoke to her. It was a treat spending time with her the last time I visited you guys. May her soul rest in peace. Amen!
