Lupe Guerra Galvan

Lupe Guerra Galvan, born on February 18, 1927 in Pasadena, CA passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 9, 2014.Devoted mother of Daniel G. Galvan (Terry) and Sally G. Galvan. Loving grandmother of Celeste, Daniel, Anthony, David and John, and great-grandmother of David, Thomas and Henry. She was preceded in death by her husband Feliciano G. Galvan, her sons David and Jerry G. Galvan, brothers Javier and Reuben and parents Rodolfo Guerra and Librada Molina.Lupe was the first born and the only girl with five brothers. She went to Washington High School in Fremont, CA. She wore many hats in the work force as a Teacher's Aid, management at Northern Telecom, and working at a florist. She became interested in oil painting, taking classes at the senior center and created many beautiful paintings. She was quite the history buff, reading all the time. She was passionate about education and everyone's right to vote.Family and friends are invited to attend an 11:00 AM Mass of Resurrection on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Holy Spirit Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA.
