Marilyn Ruth Ashby

Marilyn Ruth Ashby (nee Sharon) passed away peacefully at her home in Newark, Ca on April 27, 2014 at age 89. She was a longtime resident of Newark. Lynn loved her pets, especially her cats Micky and Kelly, gardening, the SF Giants, volunteering at LOV, and was much beloved by her caregivers Siusavaii, Atu and Lupe. Marilyn is survived by her loving sons, John Ashby of Northridge, Ca, Steven Ashby of Highlands Ranch, Co. and Paul Ashby of Orinda, Ca. and daughters-in-law Lisa Underkoffler, Janice Ashby and Kate Burkart. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John David Ashby of Grants Pass, Or. and her brother, John Sharon of Schaumburg, Il. Services are private by request of Lynn and family. Donations in her memory may be made to your local SPCA.
