Martha Carolyn Lawson

Martha C. Lawson entered peacefully into rest June 19, 2013 at St. Rose Hospital in Hayward. Born February 4, 1940 in Alabama, she was 73 years old. She loved nature, walking, hiking, gardening, interior design, playing canasta, dice and having tea or coffee with her friends. She will be remembered for being a loving wife and mother and the first to extend a helping hand to those in need. She will be missed. Beloved wife of 54 years to Gerald Lawson of Fremont, CA. Loving mother of Steve Lawson and wife Amy Zhang of San Jose, CA; Chris Lawson of Fremont, CA; Davin Lawson and wife Nicole of Tracy, CA and Patrick Lawson of Fremont, CA. Dearest sister of Vera Hall of Alabama. Loving grandmother of Ted, Nic and Sami. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, June 25th from 3:00-8:00 PM. Celebration of life services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 26th held at Berge Pappas Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont. Burial to follow at Irvington Memorial Cemetery.
