Deepest condolences, and our thoughts are with Bill, Lisa, and Nicole.

  13. When we first moved into the neighborhood many years ago, Matt was a boy who you couldn’t miss around here. He had a big presence even back then, and he was instantly friendly even to newcomers like us. Over the years, we enjoyed watching Matt grow up into a distinct young man who was always friendly, helpful, and caring. We were happy to see him making the transition to adulthood. He never missed an opportunity to exchange a few words, smiles, and a wave every time we saw each other.
We are shocked to hear about the tragedy of Matt’s death. We are going to miss him dearly. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Bill, Lisa, and Nicole. We pray for your strength and courage in this most difficult of times.

  14. We are so sorry to hear of such a loss in your family. We have so many memories all the way up through our kids childhood and especially great times at the baseball games. We are so glad we got to share those memories together and Matt will always be on our minds and in our hearts. He was always so kind and thoughtful and was always a joy to be around no matter what we had going on. We will always be here for all of you if you need anything, you are like family to us. We will be praying for your whole family as you go through this difficult time.

In the midst of pain like this, God has a great plan for those feeling the weight of this heartache. My prayers are for love, support and comfort to surround everyone impacted by this.

  19. I am so sorry for your loss. Matt was a great person and I got to see him in so many different lights. We got to compete with each other on the baseball field, traveling around and winning games. The big lefty always had a smile on his face and was always making me laugh. I can remember times that coach would yell at us because we were laughing to much! Even when we played against each other it was hard not to laugh and be in a good mood, even when he was beating us. That’s just Matt, always making others laugh! You will be missed my friend!

  20. We were devastated to hear of Matt’s passing. We enjoyed so many great times with your entire family during the Little League years and travelling baseball. Matt was a great and loyal teammate of our Matt’s. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

  22. Matt moved into Vendome Place last year and became an instant friend to so many here young and old. He was sweet, kind and caring. Àlthough it isn’t much consolation, you should be proud of how you raised him because he was loved by many! God wants people like Matt early for some reason! Many residents here are grieving after having known him for such a short time so I can imagine your despair.. His heart will always be an example to so many. Rest in peace Matt and thanks for showing love here at Vendome!

  23. Bill and Lisa,
We were devastated to hear of Matt’s death. We loved having him in our home while he played baseball in San Luis Obispo. He brought love and laughter and a beautiful free spirit into our home and we will truly miss him. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know him and both of you as well. We will continually have you in our prayers as you journey through this unbearable time. All our love, Tom and Myki Keffury, Maggi Jo, Bobby & Jayci

  24. Dear Bill and Lisa, I am lighting a candle as I am writing this… I met matt about a few months ago, by living in the same apartment building as Matth. He was a unique soul, and unique souls catch my attention always… just with a simple “hello”, no reservations, he would put you at ease. His “hello” meant I care… So easy going, its rare to see such purity in this day and age. That’s why every time I saw him, in a genuine way, I would say “How is it going?” That simple interaction in the elevator, was enough for me to still know that real people exist. This picture of him, so handsome, so genuine, kind, so real.. It reminds me of a passage… Jesus replied, “You don’t understand now what I am doing, but someday you will”.. Sometimes god does what is difficult for us to understand. So, I will keep him in my thoughts forever, my prayers are with you and your family…

  25. Bill, Lisa and family, we were stunned by the news of Matt’s passing. Matt was the most fun and talented player I ever coached in Little League and Travel Ball. Our family has nothing but great memories of all the games we played with the Warm Springs Group from San Anselmo to Rainbow Fields. Matt was always at the center of the group and made everyone on the team feel welcome and enjoying the experience. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. God bless you all.
Michael, Nancy, Christian, and Katie Fauria

  26. I love you Matt. I was visiting Tim a couple of weeks ago and he had this sleeve of styrofoam cups, I asked Tim where did you get those and he said Matt Estrada gave them to me because he had a whole box full. I would have never thought a cup could have so many memories every time I use one I will think of you. You my friend knew no strangers, as I read all these comments about how sweet, kind, friendly you were. You would always call me mom #2 and I loved it, you made everyone feel special. And really you were the special one. My prayers go out to your family. With all my love Bonnie, Greg, Tim and Vanessa andrade

  33. Matt is my neighbor, I and my gf live next to his room. He was probably only one guy who actually greeting to us and invite us to hangout with him.
