The Smith family is a very caring family to the many people that they help through trouble times.
Honest, Humble and Hardworking. You can't do any better.
Dear Kevin & Staff - thank you very much for taking care of our family's needs during the cremation services of my mom. We thank you for keeping everything within our wishes, simplicity and genuine compassion. Everyone was thoroughly professional, understanding and very friendly.
This company helped us through a difficult time after my mother in law passed away. They were so kind and helpful and they knew exactly how to advise and support us.
Compared to a few places I spoke with prior, this place gave me a warm and sympathetic tone when speaking with them. Sam was a joy to work with and was great at serving as a resource and answering all the many questions we had. I also appreciated the time and patience he took to breakdown everything related to funeral planning given I went in pretty clueless about the entire process. I highly recommend them!
The arrangements and the cooperation by the staff right from the start till the end was exceptionally good.
I appreciated the attention to detail and kindness everyone showed. I specifically worked with Michelle Tokarski to complete the cremation and obtain death certificates. Michelle was kind and kept me up to date with the progress of each procedure throughout the way. I was never left wondering when the next step would be. I am so thankful for the help from her and the rest of the team at this facility.
The service's I've been to for friends and loved ones have been very well handled. The facilities are very good.
Kevin, Dan, and the entire staff at Berge-Pappas-Smith took great care of my mom who recently passed away. They were very professional and courteous - my family could have asked for a better place to take care of my mom! I plan to recommend Berge-Pappas-Smith to anyone dealing with the loss of a family member or loved one.
The staff and the facility was nothing short of professional and meaningful. We are glad they are part of our mourning.
They were extremely attentive and accommodating, they made sure we had everything we needed to have a good service. They were knowledgeable about other burial services. They had enough staff on hand, place was clean, and they are affordable. Highly recommend.
The overall experience was excellent and smooth transitions from the owner Kevin Smith to staffers; Becky Cummins, Sam Smith, Fabian and Ariel were absolutely going above and beyond their duties to guide and provided our family needs during the difficult time. The staffs ensured to support us all the details to make our family and guests as comfortable as possible. The garden hall just well maintained and peacefulness for viewing service.
Extremely courteous and professional. We had a service for our Grandfather that was completed through Berge-Pappas-Smiths’ guidance and our family was very well cared for. I’m grateful for the conversations that took place to coordinate our services - they were thoughtful, direct and easy to work with. They made a difference for our family during a strenuous time and especially helped with our vendor management and arrangements. Thanks for your services and care.
Dear Smayling family,
I am very sorry for your loss. Mike was my manager at Applied Materials in the transistor group. I learned so much from him. He has a caring, kind heart and he is genuinely helping us to be better technologists. I feel very sad about his passing.
My sincere condolences to your family.
I will let my other co-workers know. Also want to check if the funeral is open to his previous co-workers.
Hi Bingxi, thank you so much for the kind words about my dad. Yes, his services on Saturday are open to all. Work brought him such joy and we’d love to see you and his other colleagues there.
I had the pleasure and honor to work with Mike for almost ten years at Tela. He was passionate about semiconductor manufacturing process and was clearly a leader in his field. His contributions to making Tela successful are immeasurable, appreciated and will always be remembered. Far more importantly, however, is that Mike was truly a good person. He could be serious but I also fondly remember his wry sense of humor. In a good-natured way he would always want to keep this non-technical finance guy on his toes. Mike loved his family and friends immensely. I am deeply saddened by his passing. He will be dearly missed.
My heartfelt condolences go to the family and his dearest friends.
Dear Family, we are sorry to hear of the loss of dear loved one Michael. Words seem not enough at this time, but the God has promised us that soon sickness and death will
be a thing of the past (Revelation 21:3,4) and we all look forward to that time. Our love and prayers go out to the Family. Warm Christian Love, The Negrones Family
Dear Smayling family, I feel very sad about his passing. My sincere condolences to you. He invented new design technology and introduced it to semiconductor industry which made our current mobile lifestyle possible. I worked with him to advance the technology when he and I worked for Tela and a Japanese company. I could learn a lot how to develop technology and business and the spirit of Silicon Valley from him. He was a vey good person as well. He loved Japan and often visited it. It was my pleasure I could be in contact with him personally.
I just got back to the USA last night. I heard about Mike’s passing just as I left last week. I just had met with Mike about three weeks ago. His passing as I am sure for everyone is a tremendous shock.
Mike was an amazing person both professionally and personally. He embodied in my opinion the virtues of mid America where he was raised. Hard working, smart as heck and principled. It was really a pleasure knowing him and working with him. He will be missed. I hope we can honor his contribution by making his enterprises successful.
Dear Smayling Family,
I had the pleasure of working with Mike to help obtain a number of patents for his inventions when he worked at Tela. Mike was a very talented innovator, and it was clear that he enjoyed his work. But, what I remember most strikingly about Mike was that he always had a smile and a soft-spoken way about him that was pleasant to be around. Mike will be missed. I am very sorry for your loss. Mike and you are in my prayers.
