Michel Yousef Sfeir

michel sfeir
Michel Sfeir, entered into rest May 4, 2019 at his home in Fremont, CA. Born April 30, 1934 in Lebanon, he was 85 years old. He was known as the sweetest man with a big smile and a heart of gold. A holy man who loved his prayers, not a man of many words, but when he spoke, he spoke with wisdom and people listened. Proud of being Lebanese, he enjoyed sharing that and teaching others. His family would say that he had an amazing memory and would do anything for them and was the most supportive husband, partner and father and the best example of unconditional love. He also enjoyed playing backgammon, loved to garden and dance, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. Devoted husband of Leila Sfeir, beloved father of three daughter Josephine Griffin and husband Daren; Bernadette Moufarrej and husband Gabe; and Arzee Norwood and husband Chris. Loving grandfather of Emile, Monique, Michael, Nicole, Nicholas, Yazmeen and John. He is also survived by one sister and two brothers in Lebanon, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews in Lebanon and here in the US. Celina-Hynd, Victoria, Sofia, Franco, Sacha and Sabine also considered him their grandfather (Jido). He will forever be in our hearts.
