Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I remember the great times Peg and I had with Mitch. He was a talented person and a great friend. It is a sad loss for the world. My condolences to his family and friends.

  2. As the obituary says, Mitch was indeed a brilliant engineer. More important – Mitch was one of the kindest souls I’ve met. He was tolerant, patient, and had a wonderful sense of humor. Working with Mitch as a colleague and as my manager was a great experience. The world is a little sadder place this week. Mitch, we will miss you!

  3. I was so saddened to hear of Mitch’s passing. Mitch worked with me on a project when he first started at HP in the 1980’s as a summer “SEED” student. I very much enjoyed working with him and helping him learn the ropes at HP. He was a hard worker and a wonderful, kind person. I especially remember a camping trip several people from our work group took to northern California one summer. That trip included Mitch. We slept under the stars by the side of a road when there was no room in the campground. We had a great time. I can still see Mitch’s smile and hear his voice. May he be at peace. We will miss him.

  4. Amigo – I cannot believe you are gone. I met you 27 years ago and you have been a key person in my life since that day. We had some fun times as singles back in our CAIS days and even more meaningful 1:1s in recent years. I love you and miss you more than you know. We can’t help but feel like we failed you…

I have a letter you sent me ~20 years ago that touched my life like no other…If I have the strength, I will share parts of it in your memory on Saturday during your memorial service. If I can’t do it, I will keep it in my heart forever and know that we had a special connection that no one else will ever understand.

    All my love,
    Tracy

  5. I appreciate the time that we had you in our lives, Mitch, although it’s so short. You’ll always be in our hearts.

  6. Mitch was a of most gentle, kind and generous man. I know that he touched many people’s lives in a positive way.I will remember his smile and soft laughter most of all. Rest in peace. You are missed.

  7. Mitch, we will miss you! Truely one of the best colleagues and engineers I’ve ever worked with.

  8. I was visiting the US from London this July and tried to connect with Mitch not knowing at all that he had passed away the previous month.

On trying his phone contact, I searched for his details on Google and was heartbroken to see his obituary notice. I had tears in my eyes.

Mitch was my classmate from the Michigan MBA program and I had met him a few times after we graduated both in Michigan and California.

He was one of the sweetest, kindest persons and one of the most talented computer geeks I ever met when I first arrived in Ann Arbor, MI from India. I am not saying this because he is no more and mean it from the bottom of my heart.

He became a good friend and we did a lot of coursework projects together.

If anyone reads this message and would be kind enough to send me a mail to let me know what happened to my dear friend Mitch that he left us so early, I would much appreciate it.

Mitch was God’s good man. May his soul always rest in peace.

Wherever you are, Mitch, my dear friend, I want to thank you for being a small but happy part of my life and making my journey richer. I will cherish your friendship and memory always.
