Morris R. Close

Morris R. Close Passed away on January 22, 2016 at the age of 84. Morris was born on May 28, 1931 to Paul and Mrytle Close in Greeley, Colorado. He has been a resident of Fremont for 47 years. Morris is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Doris Close. Morris is also survived by his daughter Catherine Olivieri and her husband Richard of Fresno, CA, daughter-in-law Suzanne Close, and granddaughter Heather Olivieri. He is preceded in death by his son Eric Close. Morris was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked for Toyota Motor Distributors. Morris loved woodworking and cars. Morris was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Services will be heald at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 38451 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA 94536 on Friday January 29, 2016, at 1PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
