Nageshwar Prasad

At a young age of 83 my Dad decided to embark on a new journey presumably in search of a greater truth. If there is one description that fits my father it would “ a searcher for justice, knowledge and truth”.

Author of several academic books and various academic articles he never strayed from quest for truth and social change. His search was more of this world –I would call it “social Truth” rather than some other worldly religious truths. He had one unique attribute “question everything” including your own biases and that to me has been his most enduring gift.

Today we pay my ultimate respect to our Dad who taught us (or rather led by example) not only the value of knowledge, how to achieve knowledge but also the importance of socially relevant knowledge and truth.
