Born in: Agana, Guam
Resided in: Fremont, California

Natividad Francisco Roberto (“Daling,” “Darlene,” “Auntie Dahl”) entered into final rest July 30, 2020.  Born December 25, 1928 in Agaña, Guam, she was a 48-year Fremont resident and St. Joseph Parish member.

As a young woman in Guam her greatest joy was teaching grade school students.  She then married, became a military wife and raised four daughters while traveling the world. During it all she found time to create.  She was an avid gardener, seamstress, floral arranger, ceramicist, and cook.  Everything she did was imbued with love and talent. Dahl and Dan were never apart and continued to travel the world during their retirement years.  Their trips were endless, as was their love.

Caring grandmother, great-grandmother and family elder.  Beloved wife of 63 years of the late Daniel Roberto.  Loving mother of Bernice Roberto, Donna Fletcher, Carla Bustamante and their husbands, and the late Suzanne Roberto.  Cherished grandmother of seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Dearest sister of Maria Toves.

She leaves all of them, as well as many extended family members and friends, with touching memories that will forever be in our hearts. Si Yu’us ma’åse’, Mom.

A private service will be held at Berge Pappas Smith Chapel of the Angels in Fremont.

Guestbook

  1. Dear Carla,
So saddened to read about your Mom’s passing. I knew her through my daughter, Susan Habild (school friend of Suzanne’s). Your Mom and Dad were such kind and sincere people and I’m was lucky enough to know them (4838 Porter St.). May she be reunited with her loved ones in Heaven.
