OFELIA L. TEIXIERA, beloved wife of late husband Louie Teixeira Sr., was surrounded by her family and entered peacefully into rest January 7, 2019. Born August 6, 1930 in Porto Judeu, Terceira, Azores, she was 88 years old and a longtime resident of the Tri City area. She loved to do word searches, watch Hallmark movies and spend time with family and friends. Beloved mother of Susan Labendeira and late husband Larry of Merced, CA; Louie Teixeira Jr. and wife Susie of Fremont, CA; Michael Teixeira and wife Bernadette of Newark, CA; Tommy Teixeira and wife Barbara of Fremont, CA. Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Family and Freinds are invited to attend a rosary that will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 3:30 PM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd., Fremont with a Mass to follow at 4:00 PM. Ofelia will be laid to rest with her 'honey' on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 11:30 AM at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 W. McCabe Rd., Santa Nella, Ca 95322.
