Born in: Alameda, California
Resided in: Fairfield, California

Patricia Galli entered into eternal rest on December 21, 2021 in Fairfield, California. Born August 15, 1950 in Alameda, California to Isabel and Theodore Garcia, she was 71 years old and a life-long Bay Area resident. Patricia is survived by her son, Michael Galli and wife, Carol; son, Peter Galli; grandchild, Johnathan Galli; and many cousins, god-children, nieces and nephews.

Patricia grew up in Fremont, California and attended Mission San Jose High School as the first four-year class to graduate from that school, in 1968. At MSJHS she was a member of the tennis team, volleyball team and the cheerleading squad. While in high school, she met her soon-to-be sweetheart Albert, marrying him in 1969. Soon after the wedding, Albert was stationed in West Germany, and back in Fremont Patricia gave birth to their first son Michael. Returning from the Army, Albert and Patricia moved to Hayward and San Leandro, where Peter was born. The family moved to Fremont for a short time, before settling in Fairfield. Patricia was an enthusiastic participant in everything she did. After moving to Fairfield she became a room mother for Michael’s 4th grade class. A year later the school district hired her as an Instructional Aide. Initially Patricia worked in elementary classrooms with gifted students. She attended many training courses and conferences to expand her skills in education. Patricia began working in K-2 special needs classes and constantly pushed herself to learn more to provide the best education she could give. Patricia retired after more than 35 years of service with the school district. For many of those years she was an active member of the CSEA local in Fairfield, taking on roles of Secretary and other vital duties. Outside of work, she was a member of the Sons & Daughters of Italy, often working with the kitchen crew for dinners, playing cards with lodge brothers and sisters, as well as helping with the Christmas fundraiser and scholarship programs.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1 PM, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fremont. Due to Covid restrictions, there will not be a reception immediately afterwards.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her remembrance may be made to Hanna Boys Center, a teen residential treatment center in Sonoma, California, with an on- campus accredited high school, Archbishop Hanna High School, serving 8th through 12th grade students with at-risk youth programs.
