Peter Alan Meager passed away on September 1, 2015. He was born on September 10, 1938 to Percy and Gladys Meager in England and moved to the US in 1971. Peter was a long time resident of Fremont before moving to Livermore and then Los Gatos. Father of Claire Meager of Livermore, Paul and Mai Meager of Fremont, and loving grandfather of Lauren and Matthew Meager. He is also survived by his companion of eleven years, Judy VanKampen of Los Gatos. Peter was a residential contractor who owned and operated C&S Construction in Fremont. He was involved in the building of many custom homes in the Mission San Jose area and loved his work. He also enjoyed taking cruises, Jaguar cars, and was proud of his English heritage. Family and friends are invited to attend a 3:00pm service on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont, Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538.

Pete has always been in my life and in the life of my parents since they were young. He planted the seed for Steve & I to move to America. His gift of opportunity shaped our lives. He was generous, supportive and gave the kind of advice worth listening to. With his wonderful sense of humour and caring nature, he was a pleasure to be in the company of.
