Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. The world lost a true humanitarian and I my soul mate when the Angels reached out for Pete’s hand. He was a master of fly fishing. He will forever have a fishing pole in his hand and his dog by his side being at peace. He lived life to the fullest with simple yet grounded values. Never measured success by the amount of money one had but by the good that they had done and being happy within themself. My heart will always be filled with the love that we shared. You are my love, my friend and protector. I will forever be your Mookie.

  2. Pete was a friend who I will remember as someone was always smiling. One of my best memories was the night a bunch of us took a picture and sent it to him after we talked to him while he had guard duties on New Years Eve his first year in the military. Many crazy memories with you my Brother times that will never be forgotten.

  3. Pete was a good friend and I will always have good memories of fishing and hang ing out. He could think like a fish, that guy. Never a dull moment with Pete. Rest in peace brother.

  4. Pete installed my sprinkler system that still works well 40years later. In talking with several friends today, all echo the same thing. Tough as nails and one heck of a fisherman. Steve Pelosi said he was a quarterback’s best friend. A 2yard swing pass would turn into a 50yard gain. He wasn’t just all league, Pete was all county. His spin moves would leave much bigger tackles grasping for air. He could bench 350 with natural strength. He didn’t wear pads around his ribs and most of the season they were black and blue on both sides yet, he never complained. Those years were winning years for football and baseball so the bus rides home were hilarious with Pete leading the charge. RIP Pete

  5. Pete you were such a wonderful person. Kind to everyone.
May you Rest In Peace with the Angels. Now you have
your wings, so fly high and soar.
    God Bless You,

  6. Oh gosh! I’m saddened. I had no contact with him beyond our high school years, but none the less, quite saddened by his passing. RIP…

  7. Time to rest Pete
Lots of fishing and family stories to be remembered by the Cheskiewicz family and friends.
    Condolences to the Family.

  8. Pete, I will always have fond memories of fishing with you, Amador, Moccasin Creek, Discovery Bay and many other places. Not to be forgotten, all the laughs we had! You were quite the character.

    RIP-Polish Prince

  9. Candle“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no none can steal. ” Author unknown

It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost 1 1/2 years since we last gazed in each others eyes. Your eyes is what I remember the most from the first time we met.
Not a day goes by that you are not in the forefront of my thoughts. I known when you have been by to check in, as you leave me a heart in the sky, amongst the clouds or a heart rock in plain view for me to find. I wish I could find all the right words to express, what having you in my life the last almost 15 years has meant, but I know in my heart you already know. In time we will once again be together. Until then I will look to the stars to see you.
    Loving you always
    Your Mookie

  10. CandleHey Pete, sorry to hear you left us a bit early. There are so many memories together that I will save them to reminisce when we meet again.

Love to you and your family.

    Barney
