Richard B. Costa, Sr. Dec 30, 1934 – July 26, 2012 44 yr. Resident of Fremont Richard joined his 'Honey Love', Maria Alice in Heaven, peacefully on July 26th at the age of 77. Dedicated and loving father of Eva Costa-Perez (Joe) of Fremont and Richard B. Costa, Jr. (Valerie) of Salem, OR and nephew of Mrs. Margaret Kolb of Hayward, CA. Doting grandfather of Jovanna D. Costa-Perez, of Fremont; Curtis A. Costa and Nicholas R. Costa of Salem. He loved and was loved by his family, friends, in-laws, outlaws, godchildren, nieces, and nephews. Richard was a talented athlete, excelling in baseball (he loved the Giants) as a pitcher and softball and was an avid bowler. Although a longtime member of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Richard wanted no service at present. His wishes were to have those who loved him say a prayer on his behalf at an appropriate time of their choosing.
