Son of the late Richard and Dorothy Wales. Dick was born in Kittanning, PA. He had a successful career as an electronics-engineering manager. He has been a resident of Fremont for 32 years. He was a Deacon and an Elder at Centerville Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed visiting people, not only with his church family, but in the greater community area as a Peer Counselor and Friendly Visitor. His beloved wife Loretta (Peterson Harding) was at his side for 32 years and at his death when he died from complications of Alzheimer's Dementia. He is also survived by his sons David Wales of Kittanning, PA, Gary Wales of Sneads, FL and Timothy Wales of Fair Oaks, CA, his daughter Kimberly (Wales) Bleich of Poulsbo, WA and stepson, William Harding of Spotsylvania, VA, 22 grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren, sister Phyllis (Wales) Twiss of Media, PA and many nephews and nieces. Family and friends are invited to attend a service at Centerville Presbyterian Church, to honor his life on Saturday , May 28th at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Northern California or Centerville Presbyterian Church.
