Rickey Joseph Valencia

Rickey Joseph Valencia, 60, passed away of natural causes doing one of the many activities he loved - riding his mountain bike up Mission Peak. Rickey was a lifelong area resident. He worked as a machine shop manager, real estate broker, and contractor. He enjoyed an active life with family and friends. His generous loving spirit will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Terry Valencia; his sister, Lonee Hoffman; three daughters and their husbands, Sarah and Ryan Steen, Heather and Mike Gardner, Carli and Daniel Sims; six grandchildren, Madilynn, Caylie, Ryder, Rylan, Gracyn, and Daniel; two nephews, Robert and Matthew Hoffman; and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Dick and Velma Valencia. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 2nd, at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Rickey Valencia to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital or Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
