Robert R. Keleher entered peacefully into rest September 27, 2012 at the age of 81. Born April 26, 1931 in Belmond, Iowa, where he grew up and was a native of Rowan, Iowa. He enjoyed riding his Harley, golfing, bowling and all sports, but most of all he loved family gatherings and watching his children and grand children play sports and activities. He was drafted by the Boston Red Sox and played Triple A ball before being drafted into the Army, during the Korean war, where he was a company clerk. For 29 years he worked as an Electrician for Kaiser Center for Technology in Pleasanton, CA. Loving husband of 61 years to Irene M. Keleher of Fremont, CA. Beloved father of Terry Keleher of Fremont, CA, Debbie Pennelly and husband Paul of Fremont, CA and Michael Keleher and wife Luanne of Hayward, CA. Dearest brother of Donna Freese of Clive, IA, Diane Bell of Avenger, TX, Larry Keleher of Colorado Springs, CO and Richard Keleher of Colorado Springs, CO. Devoted grandfather of Ryan, Eric, Chelsea and Jessica and great grandfa- ther of Wyatt, Maddelyn, Nathan, Cameron and Jocelynn. He is also sur- vived by his beloved Dog Harley. Family and friends are invited to attend a gathering in celebration of his life Thursday, October 4th, from 4:30-8:00 p.m. held at Berge Pappas Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont.

We were always welcome at “Sunday swim party’s”, at Bob’s home and had wonderful times. Bob will be missed and remembered forever. He was a special man and he holds a special place in our hearts.   5. What wonderful memories in your video. Our added memories would be BBQ ribs with you, Bob and Annie and us at Treloars for our anniversaries. What a treat.There were get togethers when the guys were overseas,playing cards, and visits with you in CA.
