Robert Sterling passed away peacefully on January 1, 2016. He was born in San Francisco on May 1, 1925 and has been a resident of Fremont since 1960.
Loving husband of Dolores Sterling for 65 years. Devoted father of Robert E. Sterling of Fremont and Rebecca Sterling of Salt Lake City, UT. Cherished grandfather of Robert Emerson Sterling and Sarah Marie Sterling. Robert was an architectural design draftsman and an artist. He was passionate about reading, operating radio controlled airplanes, flying, and visiting art museums.
Robert was a supporting member of The Museum of Modern Art and Fine Arts Museum in San Francisco, Society of Western Artist, the Northern California Chapter of the Antique Airplane Association and Heart Menders which he rode his bike to.
Family and friends are invited to attend a 2:00 P.M. memorial on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels Mortuary, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538.
