As his four children could attest, Rosendo was set in his ways and would most definitely 'do what he wanted', however even through his thick exterior he would never deny the love and importance of his family and especially that of his two grandchildren Cyle and Alyssa Glidewell. Rosendo was recently predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Emilia C. Guzman, known as 'Mili'. Survivors include his two daughters, Maria E. Glidewell and Angelica Guzman, both of Fremont California two sons Juan R. Guzman of Fremont, California, and Gerardo Guzman, currently on Active Duty assignment in Aurora, Colorado with the U.S. Coast Guard and lastly his son-in-law Lance Glidewell.Visitation will be 9:00 am on Monday, June 16 with an 11:00 am funeral service held at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels Mortuary, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA. He'll be laid to rest next to his beloved wife 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Irvington Memorial Cemetery, 41001 Chapel Way, Fremont. The surviving children wish to extend their gratitude and love to our Uncle Freddy & Tia Angie for their support over these last few days and especially for helping our Father with his grief and ours after the passing of our Mother this last August and keeping that family connection despite the distance. You brought us all joy and needed distraction when we all needed it the most.
