Samuel David Armour, Jr.

Samuel D. Armour, Jr. of Fremont, CA , 78, passed away unexpectedly on November 12, 2015. Sam was born in Alabama and lived there until after high school when he joined the US Air Force and served 5 years. He worked multiple positions at the Federal Aviation administration for 25 years. After retirement he worked for Raytheon Corporation in Hawaii for 3 years. He is survived by his wife Anne Armour of Fremont, Son Michael Armour of San Rafael, daughter Michelle of Lake Tahoe, Samuel Armour, III of Denver, Colorado. He is also survived by his brother Reese, sister Susan, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 4 - 8 pm on Tuesday, Nov. 17th at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont CA. A 1 pm funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 18th at the mortuary. Private burial will be at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery with full Military Honors on Thursday. In lieu flowers, remembrances can be made in his name to your favorite charity.
