Sharon passed away at home on June 16th with her family at her side. She is survived by her loving husband Jack, daughters Judy and Jane, granddaughters Nicole and Kristina, and great-granddaughter Cheyanne.
Sharon worked in the insurance field for nearly 30 years. As a three-time cancer survivor, she made many friends by providing inspiration on AOL's cancer forums. She also volunteered at the Discovery Shop in Pleasanton. Prior to a stroke in 2008, she enjoyed traveling with Jack, gardening, and babysitting Chey.
Private family services were held at Irvington Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sharon's memory to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 or online atcancer.org/donate

We miss you Sharon!
Just this week, Jon and I were in Nivot and our dear, dear friends came to mind. We spoke of our friendship and how we missed hearing from you all. I do not have a phone # for her daughter in our area. But enjoyed a visit there with you one time while you were visiting them. God Bless Sharon, she leaves a wonderful memory of herself. Her loving nature. She was a dear person and beautiful inside and out. Love you always, Neat and Jon
Sharon was one our favorite Internet buddies. She has been missed ever since her stroke. My condolences to Jack and her family. Sharon was so special.
