Shirley Ann Meeker

Shirley Ann Meeker passed away on December 9, 2015. Born in Fremont to Frances and Manuel Mello. Graduated from Washington High School, class of 1953. Retired from the Fremont Unified School District after 30 years. She was an avid bridge player and a member of the Tri-Cities Women's Club. She enjoyed volunteering for Washington Hospital and one of her greatest joys was being a member of her special Mello/Perry family. Devoted wife of 56 years to the late Thomas Meeker. Beloved sister to Melvin Mello. Loving mother to Lynn and husband John Chacon, Larry Meeker and the late Steven Meeker. A special aunt to Gail Wagner and Gary Mello. Per her wishes, a private family celebration of her life will be held. In lieu of flowers gifts in memory may be made to a special cause of your life.
