Sister John Domenic was my grammar school teacher at St. Michael’s in Los Angeles in the 1950s. That may seem a long time ago, but this dear Sister’s love and caring influence still fills my heart a lifetime later. Her wisdom and true kindness were felt by all of.us – her students and ALL who now cherish her memory and warm heart.
May God Bless her and hold her close always. We remember.

  2. CandleI had the pleasure of having Sister John Dominic as my English teacher at Immaculate Conception Academy, San Francisco in 1992. She was the most feared teacher there and I loved her. Her dry jokes were so funny to me and I seemed to be the only one to laugh. She was firm about how big our hoop earrings were allowed to be when in her class. If it was larger, she’d take them away at the door. Don’t even think about coming in to get class with a hicky on your neck, she’d charge you $5 and issue you a detention. Sister John Dominic was one of my favorite teachers. She is tucked away in that special place in my heart and will forever be missed.
