Steven Benbow

Steven Benbow Resident of Fremont Steven Benbow entered peacefully into rest November 14, 2014 at his home in Fremont, CA. Born April 23, 1950 in Fremont, California, he was 64 years old and a life long resident of Fremont. He loved hunting, roping, riding and ranch work and was a member of the Pioneer Benbow family that arrived in Mission San Jose on a wagon train in 1850. Beloved son of Edna Benbow of Fremont and the late Oliver Benbow. Dearest brother of Richard Benbow of Fremont, CA, Ronald Benbow of Fremont, CA, William Benbow of Oakdale, CA and Dennis Benbow of Oakdale, CA. Also survived by long time friends Tony Webb, Johnny Campagna, Craig Still, Tim Coopman and Dave Arledge. He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Benbow and son Thomas Benbow. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of his life 11:00 AM., Tuesday, November 18th held at Berge Pappas Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont. Burial will follow at Irvington Memorial Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
