Surjit Singh Kashyap

Papa Kashyap Surjit 'Kaku' Singh Kashyap, 77, of Fremont, California, passed away, Sunday, April 17, 2016, at Washington Hospital. Surjit is survived by his wife Asha of 49 years, 4 sons Kamal, Naval, Aman (Jessica), Manu Kashyap, daughter Jyoti (Mike) Padilla, sister Lalita Berry, 4 brothers Monahar (Berit) Kashyap, Inderjit, Randhir, and Hardyal Kashyap. Grandchildren Xavier Cortez, Miguel, Isaac and Ezekiel Padilla, Taylor and Samantha Kashyap and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Surjit was a loving brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. He was known to many as Papa. He had a heart of gold and will live on through all that knew him. Services will be from 1:00PM – 2:00PM at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels in Fremont on Thursday, April 21.
