Teresa Facha of Fremont passed away peacefully on February 17th surrounded by her loving family.
Teresa was born on June 12, 1937 in Flores, Azores. She married Jose Facha on June 3, 1957. Shortly after their marriage they moved to the United States.
Teresa was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing and crocheting. She found joy in spending time with family and attending her grandchildren's activities.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jose Facha of Fremont and her five children; Ed Facha of Grants Pass, Oregon, Filomena Facha-Bianchi of Stockton, Luis Facha of Fremont, Victor Facha of Tracy, and Joseph Facha of Livermore. She has 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 26th at 2pm with a Rosary beginning at 2:30pm at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA. Mass will be 10:00 AM Monday, February 27th, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 43148 Mission Blvd, Fremont. A luncheon will follow.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Catholic Charities.

She was a wonderful lady. I will forever be blessed and happy to have had her in my life. May she rest in God’s hands now.
We are blessed to have known Teresa, and thankful for the love she brought to the lives of our daughter and grandchildren. Her spirit and positive outlook will be a cherished memory and inspiration to us all.
