Thomas Meeker

Thomas E. Meeker Oct. 10, 1935 - Dec. 13, 2013 Resident of Fremont Thomas Ernst Meeker passed away on December 13, 2013 after a long illness of Parkinsons and Lewy Body dementia. Born in San Jose, CA he grew up in Niles and graduated from Washington High School, class of 1953 and San Jose Junior College. A Manufacturing Engineer for 35 years, he was a golf and car enthusiast and an excellent craftsman. Loving husband of 56 years to Shirley Meeker of Fremont, CA. Beloved father of Lynn Chacon and husband John, Larry Meeker and the late Steven Meeker. Devoted grandfather of Matthew and Daniel Reese, Karin, Rachel, Aly and Sophia Meeker. Brother of Jim Meeker. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday, December 19th at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels 40842 Fremont Blvd, Fremont.
