Resided in: Fremont, California

Trevor passed away unexpectedly on April 17th, 2020. Trevor was born on August 6th, 1990, in California to Edward Dicks and Kathy Newcomb. He was a resident of Fremont for 29 years. Trevor was an avid soccer and baseball player. Loved by those who were blessed to know him. Trevor was a loving and gentle soul, truly one of a kind, a shooting star, and will be sorely missed. Trevor is survived by his mother, Kathy Newcomb; Father, Edward Dicks; Sister, Chenoa Martinez; and Brothers, Ryan Dicks, Temo Martinez, Spencer Dicks, and Dustin McDaniel.

Revelation 21:4 – And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Luke 23:43 – And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be

with me in paradise.

Life and Reality

The exclusion of hate
is one we all rely on in life and reality

Conserve all that we trust
is making quiet energy in life and reality

Taking over ones body
Enticed behavior is unknown

Release what you don’t want
Gather what you need

Receive life as beauty
Remove what is lost
In life and reality

Trevor Dicks, 2008

We were born upon a river in a house among the leaves
The clouds said we would go no further but we had everything needYou always had a way of knowing that time was not quite what it seemed
The fast was tough but the slow was going
The heart renews itself in SpringBut then the winter went on forever
And shelter from the storm was spare
Heaven couldn’t wait a day to find you
Knew you had something left to shareSo I’ll remember you on that river
And sitting by me in the car
You were beautiful and broken
I love you just the way you areDad – April 2020

Trevor will be laid to rest at Irvington Memorial Cemetery. A celebration of Trevor’s life will be held at a later date.
