Tushar T. Vora

tushar vora
With great sorrow and a heavy heart, we are grieving the loss of Mr . Tushar Vora (son of late Shri Tribhovandas and Urmila Vora from Mumbai), lifetime benefactor member of JCNC, who passed away due to complications from ARDS at 4:10 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the age of 57. He is survived by his wife Jyoti, daughter Shailey, son Sunit. Tusharbhai had a very vibrant and humble personality who was known in the community for his genuine approach and friendly investment advice. He was one of the pioneers in the formation of the JCNC temple as he donated a significant sum of money and time for bettering children's Jain education. He served as a Board Member, VP of finance, and Finance Committee Chairman. He was also a regular visitor at the temple performing daily rituals, pooja, and darshan. He was born in Aden, South Yemen and grew up in Mumbai. He arrived in the U.S. in 1977 and completed his MBA at University of Chicago. He spent most of his working years as an investment banker and started two businesses involving real estate and small brokerage loans over the last decade. He had great passion in his work and home life. All of whom who have known him can agree that his presence will be deeply missed.
