To Joe and Dolores, Dan and I just heard of Vance’s passing today. We are so very sorry. We had no idea he lived so close to us either. Prayers to you and your entire family.
Joesph and Dolores, Jennifer and Dan and family, I have just received word of Vance’s passing. My heart goes out to you and all of his family. I played football with Vance at SJSU for four years as we both entered as freshmen together. I have a picture of him playing against California and making a tackle that I never sent to him that you may want. My heart is heavy with this sad news. I knew Vance well, and we had so many memories; I’m so sorry for your loss. You can contact me in Grants Pass, Oregon if desire the picture..
Condolences to all the Topps extended family. I just found out Vance had passed. I was lucky enough to have coached and played rugby with Vance. A great friend and team mate gone. So sorry this is a very belated note. I am living in New Zealand and am out of the loop regarding USA. Dan I know you play rugby. I did offer Vance for you to come to NZ for a season years ago. I offer that to you now. I coached the Seahawks IN THE 80’s and SJSU in the early 2000’s. So long Vance our good times live on.
