Viktor Konovalov, 65, a resident of Fremont, California for 13 years, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3, 2019, at home surrounded by his family. He was born in the Republic of Belarus and moved to the USA due to being offered a job on September 2002. He had a lot of scientific accomplishments and received his PhD in chemistry. He was also an inventor and received several patents for his work.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tamara, of 40 years, His two loving daughters, Lyuba and Nadya, and one grandson.

He worked in Honeywell Analytics as a Lead Application Engineer and was rated highly at his work. He loved hiking, fishing and just sitting on the beach observing birds and animals. He also enjoyed spending time with family and his friends.

For the last five years, he fought tirelessly with cancer. Viktor will be remembered for his love of his family and will be greatly missed.
A vigil will be held at Berge Pappas Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Boulevard, Fremont, CA 94538, 510-656-1226 on Tuesday, November 5 at 11:00 AM.
