Vivian Joan Masterson Shannon
passed away at her home May 16th 2016.
Born October 1st 1929 in Decatur Illinois. Daughter to Walter H. Masterson and Olive A. Hehir Masterson. Moved to South Bend Indiana in 1940. Graduated South Bend Central High School in 1947.
Worked at Indiana Bell Telephone Co. for 20 years. Married Raymond E. Shannon on November 28th 1964 (passed away December 16th 1995). Raised 4 children; Mark E. Shannon (passed away March 12th 2001); Dan P. Shannon (passed away August 9th 1989); Timothy O. Shannon (passed away March 17th 2002) and Ramona J. Shannon Navarro (living, married to Anthony Navarro)
Later she moved to Sebring Florida in 1981 with Raymond and finally resided in Fremont California in 2005 where she lived her remaining days. Vivian was a member of the Tri City Women's Club and was a parishioner at Holy Spirit Church.
Vivian is survived by her daughter Ramona and son in-law Anthony as well as her step daughter Claudia Scott. She had four grandchildren Rachel Silveira, Kimberly Navarro, Megan Marshall, Timmy Shannon as well as grandson in-laws Richie Johnsen and Leo Silveira. Her six great grandchildren are Courtney Danika, Chrispin Ray, Danny Patrick, Kaely Ann, Randi Lynn and Christiana Vivian.
