Surrounded by his family, Bill died peacefully Saturday morning.
A lifelong resident of Mission San Jose, he went to work as a maintenance mechanic at Pacific State Steel after graduating from Washington High School. When the steel mill closed , he worked at Leslie Salt until his retirement in 1992.
In 1950, he married Jacqueline June Ingles. With the birth of his four daughters, Victoria Lynne Lundgren, Dianna June Nichols, Debra Jean Andler, and Janice Leigh Dickinson, he found his greatest success as a loving father and family man. He has ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. All of his family will deeply miss him. When not spending time with family, Bill and Jackie enjoyed traveling in their motorhome.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 27th at 10:30 a.m. at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd, Femont, CA.
